FAQ
Everything you need to know before you download.
Simple answers about privacy, editing, QR codes, templates and the saved-draft feature.
Is my data safe?
Your cover fields are handled in the browser. The basic builder does not require an account, and the saved draft feature uses LocalStorage on your own device. A custom logo used by the builder may also be stored locally so the draft can be restored.
Can I edit after download?
The PDF or PNG is the exported result, so changes are made in the builder and exported again. Your saved draft means you can return later without starting from an empty form.
Do I have to add a QR code?
No. QR is optional. Turn it on only when your department or university asks for it, then enter the URL or text to encode.
What does the QR code contain?
Exactly the link or text you enter in the optional QR field. Nothing is generated unless the QR option is enabled and the field has content.
Will my draft still be here tomorrow?
Usually yes, as long as the browser's site data has not been cleared and you return to the same website on the same device/browser. LocalStorage is not a cloud backup.
What if I use another computer or phone?
LocalStorage drafts are device/browser specific. Your saved form does not automatically sync to another device.
Can I use my own university logo?
Yes. Upload your logo in the builder. The sample crest is also available for testing.
Are downloads really A4?
Yes. PDF export is A4 portrait, and PNG export uses the same A4 composition with higher-resolution rendering.
Is an account required?
No. The builder is designed to work without a sign-up flow for creating and exporting a cover.
Ready to make the cover?
Pick a style, fill in the details, and export a clean A4 page.
